The world today is filled with negativity - it is unavoidable. From anger to downright nastiness. This inescapable truth does not mean you have to fall victim to the negativity that you may come in contact with every day. There are many herbs and oils that can help block this negativity and keep it at bay.
Nightshayde & Sayge offers a specially curated protection oil; a unique blend of essential oils and herbs. This oil can be used in spell-work, to anoint candles and even on yourself for those days you really need that little extra oomph of protection.
Most protection oils you will see contain lavender, tea tree or eucalyptus. While those are wonderful cleansing oils and work to help keep negativity away, a few things are true of them - many people are sensitive to lavender, and tea tree and eucalyptus are both toxic to our beloved pets. As such, we do not use any of those three ingredients in our protection oil.
Our oil is a beautifully crafted blend of peppermint, patchouli, ylang-ylang, sage, bergamot, lemon, orange and sandalwood to give you a beautifully alert yet earthy and grounded scent and has dried rosemary and chamomile herbs inside with just a touch of shimmering color magic. Our bottles also contain black obsidian chips to further infuse protection into our oil and prevent negativity from touching you.
Our protection oil is made in small batches when the moon is new and intentions are best set. As we combine the ingredients, we stir clockwise and pour intention into our oil - to keep negativity away and to bring protection to the user.
As a practicing witch for almost two decades, I have very carefully, with the utmost pickiness and attention to detail, chosen this spell oil’s ingredients and hand crafted the recipe. The rosemary and chamomile herbs inside were organically grown in my own garden.
If using this oil on yourself, start at the farthest point from your center and move inward toward the core of your being. This helps to draw the protection to you. While our intentions for you are infused deeply within during the creation of our oil, you may choose to repeat your own intentions as you apply to yourself or your candles or your spell-work.
As with any product you put on your skin, please be mindful when first trying to ensure that you do not have a reaction. All our oils and herbs are 100% organic but folks can still be sensitive!
